Welcome to the Pittsburgh Pet Concierge family! We’re thrilled to provide your beloved pet with a safe, loving, and luxurious home-away-from-home. To ensure your pet’s visit goes smoothly, please review the following Pre-Boarding Preparations and important details for Dog & Cat Boarding.
✅ Pet Parent Pre-Boarding Prep
PLEASE DO NOT change your pet’s food or treats less than 2 weeks prior to their boarding stay. Sudden dietary changes can upset their tummy and affect their comfort during their stay.
🐶 Dog & 🐱 Cat Boarding Meal Prep:
Dry/Kibble Food: Pre-portion ALL meals into individual Ziploc bags (one bag per meal).
We do not accept kibble in large bags or containers.
Raw/Fresh/Farmer’s Dog Diets: Also pre-portioned in Ziploc bags. We’ll refrigerate or freeze as needed for freshness.
Canned Food: Send only the number of unopened cans required for the stay.
Treats: Send your pet’s favorite treats in a sealed or Ziploc bag.
💊 Medications
Pills/Tablets: Please pre-fill AM/PM pill organizers labeled for each day of the stay.
Insulin / Liquid / Transdermal Meds: Bring the original bottle, vial, or tube, plus enough syringes, needles, or applicators for the full stay.
Long-Term Boarding (Over 2 Weeks): You're welcome to send one large, unopened bag of kibble. No need to pre-portion for extended stays.
🧸 What to Bring (and Not to Bring)
We provide all vacation essentials: beds, bowls, blankets, linens, and toys.
✅ You may send a garment or blanket with your scent for comfort.
❌ Please leave all other personal service items at home.
🐱 Cat Boarding Extras
You're welcome to send Churu-style treats or other favorites with their meals.
Please bring enough of your cat’s usual litter for the entire stay.
(We can purchase your preferred brand if you prefer – just let us know in advance!)

🚗 Arrival:
Please pull into our private driveway/parking area. The entrance is straight ahead (driveway level).
Ring the bell when you arrive—we’ll be right with you! (Same process for pick-up.)
📅 Scheduling & Reservations
Drop-off and pick-up must be scheduled via our online reservation system.
You’ll need your boarding start and end date to select available times.
Text us at (412) 856-8505 for our 2025 Summer Camper drop-off/pick-up times.
We are located in a residential area and must follow strict scheduling policies.
If our available times don’t work with your plans, you may need to adjust your dates by a day.
📌 Deposit & Payment Info
A non-refundable deposit equal to half of your total is required at the time of booking.
Deposits are only applied after your reservation is approved.
Please ensure your card on file is valid—we cannot confirm reservations if payment fails.
🚫 Holiday Closures
We are closed for drop-off and pick-up on the following holidays:
New Year’s Day
Easter
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
Holiday Rate Notice: A $6 daily fee applies for stays occurring during peak holiday times.
Higher rates may apply during high occupancy times for last minute reservations.
📲 Changes & Delays
Need to change your pick-up or drop-off?
Just text us at least one day in advance, and we’ll do our best to help!
Running late for pick-up?
No problem—your pet can stay overnight and be picked up the next day at the next available time. (Additional fees may apply.)
⏰ Timeliness Matters
Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment.
Maintaining a consistent routine helps ensure every pet receives attentive care and a calm environment.
🚨 Policy Enforcement
To protect the wellbeing of all guests:
All pre-boarding policies are strictly enforced.
If our scheduling or policies do not meet your needs, we kindly suggest seeking alternative care.
🙏 Gratuities
Gratuities are appreciated but never expected.
All tips are evenly split among the team.
You may leave cash in the gratuity box on the lobby door or text us to add a tip to your final invoice.
