Vaccine Health Requirements
for Dog Boarding, Cat Boarding, & Dog Daycare at Pittsburgh Pet Concierge - Luxury Pet Boarding
Pet Boarding Health Requirements
To ensure the safety and well-being of all pets in our care, we require the following vaccinations and health checks for boarding:
For Cats:

FVRCP Vaccine – must be current

Rabies Vaccine – must be current
Fecal testing is not required for cats.
For Dogs:
We require three core vaccines and a fecal test within the last 12 months.
Required Dog Vaccines:

Rabies Vaccine – must be current

Distemper Combo Vaccine – must be current

Bordetella Vaccine – must be current (6-month or 12-month dose accepted)
Fecal/Stool Test:

Results are valid for up to one year from the testing date

If it has been more than 12 months since your pet’s last test, a new one is required

Most vet offices accept stool samples without an appointment – just call ahead to confirm
Vaccine Records
If you're unable to locate your pet’s vaccine records:

Ask your veterinarian to fax them to: 412-856-8505

A: Yes, in certain medical circumstances (such as immune conditions or allergies), we accept waivers with a written explanation from your veterinarian.
Q: Is the canine influenza vaccine required?
A: It’s not required, but we do recommend it.
