Dogs with well-controlled, minor conditions (such as daily thyroid medication or common allergy medications like Zyrtec) do not require this service because General medication administration is available for $10 per day.
Medical & Special Needs Dog Boarding is designed for dogs who require multiple medications, injections, monitoring, or ongoing health support for major medical conditions, this service provides an award-winning structured, low-stress environment

What vaccines does my dog need for boarding?
For the safety of all guests, dogs must be up to date on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccines (unless medically exempt with documentation from a licensed veterinarian).
Puppies under 6 months must have Bordetella and an age-appropriate series of Distemper and Rabies vaccinations.
A negative fecal test within the past 6 months is also required for all dogs.
If any health requirements are missing, your dog may be required to board under our Human-Only care option, pending approval.
If your veterinarian is unable to schedule an appointment in time, we recommend visiting a nearby walk-in clinic such as VIP Petcare.

Do you accept last-minute dog boarding requests?
Yes — whenever availability allows. We provide families in and around Pittsburgh with a reliable last-minute boarding option when plans change unexpectedly.

Yes, we do. Dogs that are not spayed or neutered are welcomed under our Human-Only One-on-One Dog Boarding option, where they receive the highest level of individualized attention and care.
For dogs under two years of age, care may follow a Hybrid-style approach with moderated socialization when appropriate, allowing for structured interaction and personalized one-on-one support based on your dog’s temperament.
